Jim Barnes - In memory
of........
Jim Barnes Sr. retired from the Georgia
Pacific Mill in Millinocket with 43 years of service of
which 35 years were as a millwright. He used his
experience to design and engineer this project. With
the help of the club members and supporting businesses
listed below, the bridge across Millinocket Stream was
completed. If not for these people and firms the bridge
would not have been built.

On April 18, 1992 the Millinocket
Town Council presented Jim Barnes Sr. and the Northern
Timber Cruisers Snowmobile Club with proclamations in
recognition of their accomplishment and their continued
support of snowmobiling to the community.

The proclamation for the 24-year-old
snowmobile club recognized its membership for promoting
winter recreational activities, improving snowmobiling
in the area, and contributing to the local and regional
economy.
