Mount Katahdin


The
beginning of a week long journey into
one of natures most precious gifts.
This
journey begins in February of 1997 when the Northern Timber Cruisers Snowmobile
and Cross Country Ski Club was contacted to transport 5 people to the Baxter
State Park perimeter road for a venture to one of Maine's scenic treasures-mile
high Mt. Katahdin. Marty Molitoris, John O'Marra, Neil Curley, and Anissa
Kapsales conducted the week long trip which included overnight stays at Roaring
Brook Campground Bunkhouse and Chimney Pond Campground Bunkhouse.
